It’s no secret that this Independence Day will be very different than in years past. With cancelled fireworks events and orders to stay home, it’s easy to feel uncertain about what this all means for our future. But let’s not forget how uncertain times have turned out before in this wonderful country – and especially in this amazing community we call home.
For over a century, HTC has been here to witness residents coming together in tough times. From periods of financial instability, to summers with devastating flooding, to wide-spread illnesses and more, we’ve seen how neighbors, businesses, churches and organizations support each other to come out strong. We’ve seen how giving each other hope can result in much better outcomes than losing hope. And we’ve seen how when we commit to making it through tough times together, we enjoy the results together.
Just as we’ve always been committed to our community, HTC is committed to keeping everyone connected throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. We are proud to live in a country where our freedom makes it possible to overcome tragedies – and where we all have the ability to help our hometowns come out on top. We have no doubt that all of us will look back at this time and appreciate our amazing community more than ever before.
From all of us at HTC, we wish you a happy and safe Fourth of July.
