How to use HTC Closed Captions

Ultimate Entertainment offers customizable Closed Captions in a range of fonts, sizes, colors, and contrast settings.

To activate Closed Captions

On an Amino STB

Press the * key on the remote (located to the left of the 0 button)

On an Entone / Kamai STB

Press the CC key on the remote (located the right of the 0 button)

To activate Closed Captions

  1. Press the Menu button on the remote.
  2. Navigate to Settings and press OK.
  3. Enter your password.
    • The default password is 0. If you need to reset your password, please call Support at (618) 939-6112.
  4. Navigate to Hardware Settings and press OK.
    • On an Amino STB
      • Navigate to CC and press OK.
      • Choose your preferred font, size, color, and contrast. Then press Exit.
    • On an Entone / Kamai STB
      • Navigate to Closed Caption Setting and press OK.
      • Choose your preferred font, size, color, and contrast. Then press Exit.
