Be sure to attend the Monroe County Fair on Thursday, July 25th to take advantage of HTC’s Customer Appreciation Night. As a thank you to our customers, we will be sponsoring:
- Free admission to the fair
- A free concert by Well Hungarians
- $1 coupons redeemable at food and beverage stands sponsored by local organizations
“We are grateful for the many residents in our community who support our business year after year,” said H.R. Gentsch, President and CEO of HTC. “Sponsoring this annual fair is just our way of showing our appreciation.”
HTC has offered $1 coupons to fairgoers for the past 12 years. They can be used at various vendor booths, and participants who accept the coupons turn them into HTC to receive a check for the number of coupons received. Some of the organizations that have benefited from the coupons include FFA, 4-H, Monroe County Cattleman’s Association and Waterloo Sports Association. Since its inception, the program has raised over $50,000.
Fairgoers will be happy to know that the popular country-rock band Well Hungarians will perform on the Grand Stage again this year beginning at 8:30 p.m.
“It’s always fun to see the crowd singing along and dancing to all the songs they know when this band plays,” said Craig Hern, VP of Operations for HTC. “They have a huge fan base in this community.”
