On Thursday, July 26, HTC will once again sponsor Customer Appreciation Night at the Monroe County Fair. As a “Thank You” to our customers, we’ll be offering:
- Free admission to the fair.
- A free concert by Well Hungarians.
- $1 coupons redeemable at food and beverage stands sponsored by local organizations.
“We are pleased to help celebrate our wonderful community,” said H.R. Gentsch, President of HTC. “Sponsoring fair admission is a way for us to show thanks to the many residents who support our business, and the coupons allow us to support the organizations and groups that do great things for their hometowns.”
Over the past 11 years, the $1 coupons used at various vendors have added up to make a big difference. Participants who accept the coupons, including FFA, 4-H, Monroe County Cattleman’s Association and Waterloo Sports Association, turn them into us to receive a check for the number of coupons received. In total since we began the coupon program, over $45,000 has been raised for these wonderful local organizations.
One of the more well-liked parts of HTC’s Customer Appreciation Night at the Monroe County Fair is the free concert. This year’s concert will feature Well Hungarians, the incredibly popular band who has participated in numerous national talent competitions. “They really are an area favorite with a huge fan base,” said Craig Hern, VP of Operations for HTC. “Two years ago, when they performed, the crowd really loved it. You will certainly know every song they play.” The band will perform on the Grand Stage at 8:30 p.m.
