How to use the Ultimate Entertainment TV Talking Guide

Ultimate Entertainment includes a Talking Guide feature on an available Set Top Box model that “speaks” the text on the screen. This Text-to-Speech feature offers voice assistance while navigating the on-screen Menus. Your TV will read out details such as program descriptions and the current channel you are viewing.

To activate the Talking Guide

  1. On your remote, press Menu.
  2. Navigate using the left/right arrows to Settings and press OK.
  3. Enter your password and press OK.
    • The default password is 0. If you need to reset your password, please call Support at (618) 939-6112.
  4. Navigate using the down arrow button to Hardware Settings and press OK.
  5. Navigate down to Text-to-speech and press OK.
  6. Use the down arrow button to select Enable and press OK.
  7. Navigate down to Text-to-speech and press OK.
  8. Navigate down to Exit and press OK.
